I’ve been putting this one off as being tenants massively restricts what we can change about our home, making areas such as the bathroom a difficult task to makeover.
I forgot to take a before shot of the whole bathroom (kicking myself now) but I do have one of the sink area.
As you can see it’s very bland! White tiles and what can only be described as a ghastly skin coloured vinyl floor. At this moment I refuse to change the floor so I had to think of a way to distract the eye away from it!
You have probably seen that I have used tile stickers in our kitchen so I knew this would be a good option for our bathroom. I came across some amazing Victorian style ones on eBay and knew they would be perfect to give the bathroom a bit of zest!
I cut an existing rug in half and have used it as two separate mats.
My husband got an old ladder from his work yard for me to use as a towel rail. I had some hooks so attached a wire basket to the ladder to store our gorgeous flannels from Hampton and Astley that match the Egyptian cotton towels. Hampton and Astley have given me a 50% off discount code for a 7 piece Egyptian towel set for my followers too just enter ‘hayley’ at the checkout.
I’m so impressed with the Tile stickers, they look so realistic and I love that they have an aged look to them. I feel like I’m abroad when I’m in the bath… (apart from the sound of the rain hitting the window.)
I think you’ll agree they give the bathroom the wow factor and all for £5.99 for a pack of 10.
You can find these tile stickers here. They also come in black and duck egg blue. They are incredibly easy to apply and look and feel like the real thing!
For the finishing touches I added some plants (obviously) a print and some candles.
I hope you have enjoyed seeing my bathroom makeover. Please let me know what you think.
Until next time

What a transformation Hayley! It looks like a different bathroom! We are also tenants, and have the same problems with our bathroom, but you\’ve given me some much needed inspiration – thanks! X

Thanks so much! That\’s lovely to hear that I\’ve inspired you to spruce up your rental! Just because you don\’t own it doesn\’t mean you can\’t make it a home xx
Omg tile stickers is genius. Although we have light brownish tiles so I don’t know what we could put over them, the ones you have probably wouldn’t work with that. Great idea though makes a real difference to the look of the bathroom.
