5 ways to up-cycle your packaging with Milk & More {ad}

A few weeks ago we received our first ever delivery from Milk & More and it was an exciting morning I can tell you.

Firstly we opened the door at 7am to a porch full of fresh, delicious produce and then we had a lovely breakfast together sat at the dining table which we hardly ever do.

In case you haven’t heard of them, Milk & More are on a mission to encourage healthy eating, sustainably, by supporting small suppliers they trust to provide the best produce possible.

The best bit is… they deliver to your doorstep!

Milk & More offer a number of grocery’s which is great, but obviously all of these products have to be packaged. Now, most of us do our bit when it comes to recycling and there is a lot of awareness being raised around the unnecessary use of plastic so I’ve come up with some ideas around ways we can up-cycle and re use packaging to be both beautiful and functional.

  1. A concrete style planter made from a plastic drinks bottle, concrete effect spray paint and rose gold leaf.

Not only are they on-trend they are helping the environment too!

2. Seed boxes for seedlings made from cardboard milk cartons.

This is a fun one for the kids, our sunflower has started to grow already!

3. Storage boxes and organisers made from cereal boxes…

Decorated with pretty paper, these are great for storing foil and cellophane.

4. Hanging utility storage made from toilet/kitchen rolls….

These are ideal to hang inside the door under your sink so that you can access things you need easily, you can also glue on as many rolls as you like!

5. Make a stencil using cardboard…

Perfect for when you want to jazz something up like this plant pot.

I hope I have inspired you to be creative and up-cycle things you would normally dispose of.

Until next time,

Hayley
